May seventeenth equals Norway’s constitution day. Hot dogs and ice cream is the main diet for many people this day. Traditional costumes are worn and flags are waved. “Hurrah hurrah hurrah”. This picture presentation is very much about color. I love the colors here; they’re everywhere, and they’re bright! Abadiânia is a small town with 13-14000 inhabitants. Most of the residents live on the south side of the main road, while we’re on the north side. Where we are is a village in itself, with a main street about 1 km long (0.6 m) that has all the stuff one needs. It consists mostly of crystal jewelry shops in which most women go crazy, pousadas (motels) and cafe’s. They have an awesome smoothie bar and a cafe which serves wonderful chocolate cake (although not quite as good as Iselin’s). Staying here is extremely relaxing, I’m even more lazy now than I was before :) But it’s only three days until we fly home, going to work on monday will be a shock!
